County Executive

Pat Dyer

“I believe Baltimore County needs change after 40 years of Democrat control.  We need a County Executive who will focus on public safety, creating a thriving business community, reducing spending, cutting taxes, and making our county government transparent.  I am prepared by background and experience to do this job.”

County Council

County Council – District 1

Rheagan Kindle

Hello! I’m Rheagan Kindle and I’m running for County Council District 1.
I will bring common sense, accountability, and a fierce protective instinct to our leadership. My experience as a mom and educator has taught me that when things go wrong, you don’t wait for permission to fix them—you roll up your sleeves and do the work. Our community deserves leadership that understands what it means to raise a family, not someone who just talks about it.

What has electing the same people with the same ideas gotten us?
32 years of stagnation, wasted resources, and a community that feels unheard. It is time for the right change. It has been far too long that Democrats have held control of this county!
I am not a career politician. I am a wife, a mother of three, a homeschooler, and a childcare tutor. For years, I focused on raising my children and teaching them the values that matter. But when the challenges facing our county started knocking on our front door, I realized that staying silent wasn’t an option. They brought the fight to us, so now, I am ready to fight back for my children and for every family in District 1.
My priorities are clear:
I am committed to Parental Rights and Education.  I will fiercely defend your right to make decisions for your children without government overreach
I am committed to Public Safety. Safety is non-negotiable. I fully support our police and ICE to deport criminal immigrants.
I am committed to Accountability. I will demand transparency for every tax dollar spent, holding the government accountable to the people.
I am committed to Revitalization and Open Spaces. We must fix our aging infrastructure and protect our green spaces. I will fight for smart revitalization.
It’s time to stop the status quo and start fighting for our future. I ask for your vote, your trust, and your voice.

County Council – District 2

Jim Amos

My name is Jim Amos and I am running to restore accountability, safety, and prosperity in our community. I will stop the Woodlawn Data Center, ensure our police have the resources they need to reduce crime, and work to revitalize Security Square Mall. I am committed to cutting wasteful spending, eliminating duplicative programs, and refocusing the County on its core responsibilities, while strengthening oversight of our public schools. I will also address quality-of-life issues like litter, illegal signage, parking violations, and drag racing. I oppose sanctuary policies and believe our County must fully cooperate with federal authorities to uphold the rule of law.

County Council – District 3

CHIKE ANYANWU

“I’m running for Baltimore County Council District 3 to deliver responsible leadership, safer neighborhoods, and greater opportunity for working families. My priorities include creating good-paying jobs, addressing the opioid crisis, protecting taxpayers, strengthening schools, and supporting small businesses. I’m committed to transparent government, holding corporations accountable, and advancing practical solutions that improve affordability and protect our environment. District 3 deserves leadership that listens, acts with integrity, and puts our community first.”

CHRISTINE. VONDERSMITH

I’m Christine Vondersmith and I’m running for County Council in District 6 because our community deserves leadership grounded in care, compassion, and common sense.

County Council – District 7

DAVID MARKS

“I’m David Marks, running for reelection to the Baltimore County Council. During my time on the Baltimore County Council, I’ve provided bipartisan leadership that has protected the communities of eastern Baltimore County. We successfully blocked two discharge permits that would have added pollution to the Gunpowder River. We secured funding for three new schools, and helped preserve thousands of acres of green space and farmland.  I will always try to build bridges to get things done, but never hesitate to say “no,” particularly on issues of good government.  I’ve opposed every tax increase, voted to cut more from the budget than any other Councilmember in Baltimore County history, and fought for a stronger Inspector General to investigate fraud, waste, and abuse”.

JOSH SINES

I’m Josh Sines, and I’m running for Baltimore County Council District 8 to bring common sense leadership to our community. I’ve lived and worked here my whole life, and I’ve seen our area get overlooked for far too long. I’m committed to fixing our infrastructure, supporting our first responders, protecting our waterways, and getting our local government back to the basics of working for us. I’ll fight for transparency, accountability, and making sure residents are informed before decisions are made.
This is about common sense leadership and putting our community first.

HOUSE OF DELGATES – DISTRICT 7A

KATHY SZELIGA

I’m running for office in 2025 because Maryland is in decline, and the current liberal leadership is driving it there.
Families and seniors are being forced out because they simply cannot afford to stay. Energy costs are among the highest in the nation. Our tax burden is crushing working people. Traffic congestion is strangling our economy, and the Key Bridge rebuild is moving far too slowly.
At the same time, Governor Wes Moore and his Annapolis politicians have spent beyond their means, leaving us with a massive budget deficit and no serious plan to fix it.
This is the direct result of failed leadership and bad policy.
Maryland is too important to surrender to decline. We need bold, decisive action to restore affordability, rebuild our economy, and put taxpayers first.
If you believe Maryland is worth saving, now is the time to act. Follow our campaign, get involved, and vote.

DISTRICT 11

STATE SENATOR – DISTRICT 11

JIM SIMPSON

Maryland has not thrived under Democrat leadership. Marylanders are feeling the consequences of Democrat policies in the form of rising costs, expanding government, and increased regulatory burden. State spending has grown sharply since 2020, raising serious concerns about long-term fiscal stability and growing future obligations.
Education reform through the Kirwan Commission’s “Blueprint for Maryland’s Future” will significantly increase annual education spending over the coming years. While investment in schools is important, Maryland already ranks among the highest states in per-pupil spending, yet student outcomes remain uneven, and many schools continue to struggle with aging infrastructure that will require substantial additional investment.
At the same time, the state budget has come under increasing strain, with reliance on reserve funds and additional borrowing to maintain balance. New energy mandates, vehicle regulations, and other policy initiatives have also contributed to higher costs for families and businesses, raising concerns about affordability and economic competitiveness.
Debates over public safety policy, immigration enforcement approaches, and legislative redistricting further reflect broader disagreements about the direction of the state and the need for greater balance and accountability in government decision-making.
I believe Maryland needs a renewed commitment to fiscal responsibility, practical governance, and policies that prioritize results over rhetoric. I am committed to working toward those goals and restoring trust in how our state is run. Maryland remains a beautiful and extraordinary place to live, and with more effective leadership, it can fully reach its potential for all its residents.
